Lincoln & Katie Bennett, along with Philip Down are new in Grafton providing funeral services to families in Grafton as well as a new facility for those seeking a large, but personal space to hold a funeral. The Bennett family own and operate Riverview Funerals & Crematorium and have been offering their services to the Clarence Valley Community for over 10 years. Lincoln began his career around Grafton as a Signals Electrician for the Railway in 2008 based between Casino and Grafton, and in 2014 joined the family in running Riverview Funerals in Maclean & Yamba. It was at this time that the Bennett family developed a Crematorium in the Clarence Valley which has proven to save financial strain on families during an already difficult time by providing the service locally rather than out of the Valley.

In Grafton, the Bennett family have rejuvenated the ‘Old Pullen’s Building’ with the help of many local tradespeople and the kind assistance of Ron Skinner. The Pullen Centre has now been converted into a large Chapel & Function Room for use by the Grafton Community. A very new feature introduced to the facility is the ability to securely live-stream a funeral service to any family members who are unable to attend the funeral of a relative, free of charge.

Philip Down comes to the business with qualifications and experience as a Counsellor, and a member of the Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement (ACGB), a degree qualified Vocational Educator, Winemaker and Hospitality Specialist, Philip has considerable experience caring for people in many capacities.  A father to six children and Grandfather to ten grandchildren, Philip's life experience is broader than most.  He is a professional listener, and this compliments his role as a Funeral Director perfectly.

As the only family owned & operated Funeral Home in the Clarence, the Bennett family and their team are pleased & honoured to make their services available to the Grafton community and surrounding areas and invite anyone interested in seeing the rejuvenations to the ‘Old Pullen’s Building’ to visit Lincoln, Katie & Philip at any time.
